Now that you have answered why you want to go to business school, when you plan to go and have a preliminary list of schools you are interested in applying to, let’s dive into the preparation strategy.
First of all, let’s look at what the admissions committee sees because what they don’t see will not matter in your application. Here is the list:
- Your Graduate Management Assessment Test (GMAT) score
- Your undergraduate and graduate grade point average (GPA)
- Undergraduate and graduate schools you’ve attended
- Your resume
- Your letters of recommendations
- Your essays
- In many cases, your interview
- Other miscellaneous things (additional classes, special circumstances, etc.)
